In real life, I prefer simple outfits instead of ruffly, detailed ones, but I always love how Meadham Kirchhoff line up their designs every season. Rookiemag‘s photographer Eleanor have documented their design process and behind the scene of their show for the last two season, and I’ve been waiting for this one.
Meadham Kirchhoff’s designs were always playful, adventurous, glamorous and feminine at the same time, no matter what theme they chose (except two-three years ago maybe). Be it drag queens or monsters or baroque paintings, looking at their show is always magical and whimsical, so I always look forward to see their (huge!) inspiration board.

Their outfits are extravagant yet so wearable at the same time, me love ‘em so much ;;)
kalau tekstil print disini emang susah sih, taunya paling mayestik atau tamim…. harus rajin gali2 kain. kalau mau kain edisi murah, bisa ke cigondewah. Atau kalo segitunya pengen, bisa print sendiri di daerah paskal hypersquare, harga mulai dari 250rb/m…. *mahal* biasanya kalo tugas semesteran emang suka ngeprint sendiri kainnya… :D
tamim pasar baru ??? belom pernah kesana pernahnya pasar barunya. Iya banget mayestik udah surga tekstil yah. oke ntar di coba ahhh~ kalo ngeprint boleh juga tuh tapi cukup mahal juga yah. Pengen print miu miu :3 hehehe.
pasar barunya aja emang lengkap, tapi mahal. coba ke tamim, gang yang di sebelah pasar baru ;) selip selip sedikit, bisa obrak-abrik bahan kain sepuasnya. tapi yah, print di indonesia masih susah kalo nyari yang unyu semacem miu miu yah….
Oh gitu jadi tinggal jalan tuh dari pasar baru?? Iya makanya cari print print kaya gitu sumpah susaaaah amat. hahaha. Paling harus beli di luar yah.
